Hello, I just got back from maaco for the third time to pick up my car,,I have a classic 79z28 camaro,with a factory 4 spd,I put new carpet and interior, in it,Painted the factory 5 spoke wheels back to original,,The car is ready to shine, I take it in the guy walks it,i leave the car go home,Next day they call and say the doors need work,What?they were perfect.I go there, big dent under the mirror on drivers side door,I cant believe it,The guy looks at it,He aggrees the was not there before,He aggrees to fix it no extra charge,Gee so nice..i go home think what the *** kinda people are they?
maaco calls says car is done, OK..no way,The door jams have new paint peeled up from the doors being shut too early,All 4 wheels are covered with over spray,, They say ok we will fix it,,1 week later they say come get it..We can see when we pull up the wheels still look like crap..I say no way, The shop guy.(old man) comes out says, how much time ya got into the wheels,I say 2 days sanding and painting them,He says,Will 50 bucks make ya go away? I wanted to put his teeth down his throat,, He says, Well this isnt a 10,000$dollar paint job, what do you exspect?I cant believe what hes saying,My friend is sitting in his car,listening to all this, he cant believe it either..We go in the office,other people are there,we argue ,, he finally agrees to take the wheels off and do it right this time,,We will see how it looks tomorrow,

rich dont you know you get what you pay for and good paint job around here will run you about 3,500 to 5,000 and the over spray on the wheels dont you know you never ever ever take your car to the paint shop with your good wheels on it. did you do any research do you know anything about cars. you set yourself up for failure. i would not blame maaco i would blame yourself it sounds like your cheap and dont want to pay for quality work.
I dont disagree here. But i would have only went there if i knew someone who got work done there. When your dealing with old cars you should always go by recomendations.

It is not Richs fault that Maaco f*** up. Maaco accepted the job they need to do it right. Maacos unprofessionalism is unexusable they are a company not some "mom and pops" store.---please exuse the spelling---
Well I believe ya... no one should treat their customers like that. I dont care if they work at WALMART OR MAACO or freekin DISNEYLAND no one should do a *** job and expect people to walk away happy..
Thats so funny man. I cant believe he didnt know Maaco wasnt a cheap body shop ... .hahahaha. What was he thinking ? Let me bring my old car in and then complain. Its not walmart like that guy pretty much said . you cant return the paint.
They say Maaco is a corporate company but it is owned and operated by individuals. Maybe it isnt the company but the individuals that are doing the crappy work. Think if you to Subway and they had teens in their throwing around the food and coughing on it. Would you stop going to every Subway. Looks like Rich didnt do his homework1!!
Maaco is a DISCOUNT auto paint provider. What did you expect? If you want a quality paint job, you have to take it to a shop that isn't the Wal-mart body shop equivalent.
