I brought my tailgate in to be painted on a Wednesday, picked it up on a Friday evening, it had a dimple dent on it. I mentioned it to the manager and he agreed that it's the first time he has seen the dent and for me to call back Monday so we can resolve the problem.

Called back Monday and he wanted to charge me for a new paint job, I called Maaco Main Office the same day, they called and talked to the manager and he said that he advised me of dent and I did not want to pay the extra 20 some odd dollars to fix, that's when I wrote to BBB. Met today for the first time with owner of Maaco, nice gentleman name Marvin. He said the work order did not say fix dent and that manager advised me of it when I took it in, so he said he would not fix. I have a rather new truck with scratches on tailgate, so I am going to pay someone over $200 to fix but not pay an extra $25 to fix a dent -AMAZING-- I fully understand when you repaint something on a smooth metal surface that afterwards a dimple dent can be seen, I accept that I may have missed it as well as the manage when I turned it in.

Manager said I was getting the premium paint job, at this juncture since it was not on work order I can only assume now I got the least expensive also where the scratches were you can see the scratch line, you can see there was hardly any sanding done, I guess sanding was not on work order either. What I do NOT accept is a fabricated story.

I would NOT recommend anyone to do business at this location. Bad work and dishonest.

Reason of review: Problems with payment.

Monetary Loss: $200.

Preferred solution: I will get fix it fixed myself...I would like an apology.
