While deleting old voicemails off of my cell phone I discovered a voicemail from Maaco corporate customer support. I called and left a voicemail for Taylor Gillenbrand (sp) letting her know that this issue with my vehicle has still not been resolved. I am awaiting a...

On July 7,2020 I drop my 2010 Dodge Charger off with new upgraded front end parts to get an overall paint job. I was very unhappy with the work.

The paint was rough and some parts had dry running paint cheap paint in some areas also over spray on my wheels my brand new parts were painted over. I tried to give them another chance and it just got worst. I brought my car to them 3 different times and each time they kept my car 3 months or so.

I have yet to hear from anyone from Corporate I have times and dates of when I called also pictures of my car before and after receipts of parts that was destroyed. I will be filing a Lawsuit and Notifying BBB

Macco Phoenix Arizona Febuary 24 2011, I went to Macco today about the 299.00 special they are advertising on TV only to find out that is not the case. There are other charges. There is a 149.00 prep. They said out the door it will be 542.00, did I mention they are...

Deceptive advertising? Please.

They are two words that mean the same thing. Don't you people understand that these MAACO ads just drive traffic into the franchise to get inflated estimates?

No one paints a car for $300!

(OK, if they have Krylon Spray Cans, maybe...)

There's a prep charge for masking the car and wet sanding the surface...if you need body work, they will charge you for that, if you want clear coat, they will charge you for that...on and on. Get a grip.

SYSTEMIC RACISM

MAACO EMPLOYEE TRIED TO CHEAT ME IN THE WORST WAY, BECAUSE OF MY SKIN COLOR. I WENT IN TO GET A BUMPER R/R ON MY 2003 HONDA CIVIC LX. THE EMPLOYEE TRIED TO CHARGE ME $840.00 WITH A $420.00 DEPOSIT. THREE YEARS PRIOR I HAD THE BUMPER R/R ON THE SAME CAR FOR $255. THAT WAS WHEN HISPANICS WAS RUNNING THE SHOW.

User's recommendation: STAY CLEAR OF MAACO.

Unsatisfactory paint job

MAACO - Unsatisfactory paint job
I took my 1994 Chrysler Lebaron convertable to Maaco to finally get it painted after restoring it. I paid $1,500.00 They charged me $80 for pin stripes and they forgot to do it. It all peeled off afterwards. The new top hadn't been installed yet. Thank God. My back window was out, it wasn't covered. I had white over spray inside my burgundy interior! Then they broke my shift gear. It costs me 2 trips to junk yard, &;;;;; $200. To fix

User's recommendation: Any place but this one.

Paint peeling and worst customer service

I had several car parts painted in February at a shop in Westland MI, had to have the hood redone and it still isn't the best, but I can live with it. I moved to Kansas City and noticed the paint is peeling off of the rear bumper (this was in May). I got 1 call back, other than that, no responses. In hindsight, I should have spent a little more and got a much better paint job and customer service experience. I got what I paid for. Will never use any of their shps again.d GGoo

User's recommendation: Go to another shop and pay the little extra cost.

False advertising

You have price on internet and other forms of advertising then you get all info and give some ridiculous ridiculous price just because the car is an 84 Rolls-Royce silver Spirit all ready to go black it was black it's going back black mass sand and paint I know you do single stage so there is no cutting and buffing just Mass sanded paint it's the exact same procedure from a pinto to a Toyota to a Ford or a Chevy exactly it's a little bit bigger so compare it to a Ford crown Victoria a Chevy . Since adding since the photos were taken the car has been primer guide coated and primer and sealed Caprice there's no reason to give a 3,300 price unbelievable

User's recommendation: Stand by your word.

Disappointment

Took my 2000 dodge ram to the Boise Maaco on Fairview and it took 25 days to get it back. Paint was not what I requestee and even though they offered to repaint it, at that point I no longer trusted them. Finished product had scrattchse and grit in the Paint The two coat paint job is subfar in my opinion and they told me not to run it through a care wash for two months???? For $1911.00 I expected more.

My car has been back-and-forth three times and every time I have a new problem. Called customer support and was made to feel as if it was my fault try to explain it had pictures but they she ( Crystal) did not care and was not interested on what I had to say or show. They will gladly take your money but do not care if you have a problem

User's recommendation: Do not trust Mako for customer support.

Great experience

Brought my 2010 Toyota Corolla to estimator and pain tech Shannon Andrews on Saturday. Dropped it off the following Monday finish date Thursday the same week. I was treated with respect he explained the full service I would be getting as well as updated phone call in its progress before picking it up. Every description plus options we discussed overall are excellence.

User's recommendation: Recommend to everyone.

Response to your respinse to my negative review.

There is an online ad that says a paint job option is $499.00. When i went to the shop on S. Blvd in Charlotte NC the estimate was actually over 1000.00. The person I was talking to offered no other options and did not seem to care if I got my car painted there or not. That feels like a bait and switch ad to me. Sybil Byars.

User's recommendation: Ask questions about actual price before you go to their shop.
